Duties

Assist dentists during examinations and procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques.
Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary supplies are available.
Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
Record patient medical history, vital signs, and any other relevant information in the patient’s chart.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
Manage appointment scheduling and patient follow-ups as a dental receptionist when required.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dental clinic to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
Collaborate with the dental team to provide high-quality patient care.

Experience

Previous experience as a Dental Assistant in a general dentistry setting is preferred.
Familiarity with dental terminology, medical terminology, and standard procedures within a dental clinic is essential.
Proficiency in using Open Dental software for managing patient records is highly desirable.
Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment are required.
