Our established and patient-centric family dental practice in Jarrell, TX is growing and seeking an experienced Registered Dental Assistant to join our team full time. Schedule: Monday-Thursdays 8:30am-5pm
We are seeking someone who is passionate about providing the highest level of care to our patients daily, while supporting our Dentist chairside. Our ideal RDA will be flexible, willing to float between back office and front office duties, and comfortable working in a large team setting.
Responsibilities Include:
Welcome patients to the dental office, escorting them to treatment rooms
Prepare patients for treatments or checkups, ensuring their comfort
Select and set up instruments, equipment, and materials needed
Sterilize instruments according to regulations
Assist the dentist through 4-handed dentistry
Undertake lab tasks as instructed
Provide oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions
Keep the dental room clean and well-stocked
Schedule appointments
Maintain accurate patient records and assist with payment procedures
Order dental supplies and keep track of dental supply inventory.
Answering phones, scheduling patients, and checking them in and out as necessary

Requirements
Registered Dental Assistant in the state of TX is required
2+ years of experience as a Registered Dental Assistant is required
Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods
Understanding of health & safety regulations
Ability to perform regulated surgical and nonsurgical tasks
Strong computer skills
Experience with Denticon is preferred but is not required
Excellent communication and people skills
Attention to detail
Well-organized and reliable
High school diploma; graduating from dental assistant school is preferred
Bilingual in Spanish is a plus!
