Dental Insurance Specialist - Warrenton Family Dentistry - Warrenton, MO

A family owned dental practice looking for a friendly and experienced team member to join our growing dental family. This position requires excellent attention to detail, great communication, and critical thinking skills. This position requires a deep understanding of dental insurance as well as clinical knowledge of medical and dental procedures.
Daily Duties:
-Verify and explain patient insurance benefits
-Follow up on outstanding insurance payments
-Take and post payments
-Submission of dental claims and editing rejecting claims
-Creating and explaining treatment plans
-Scheduling appointments
Skills required:
-MINIMUM of 1 year of experience in a dental office
- Must have experience with in and out of network dental insurance
-Must have experience with insurance aging reports
-Strong phone and interpersonal skills
-Competency in basic computer and phone skills
-A strong work ethic and enjoys working with others
-Must be a problem solver, task oriented, and strong attention to detail
-Flexible, helping with other front office roles when needed
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $21.00 - $32.00 per hour
