Job Description:As a Dental Scheduling Coordinator, you will be the first point of contact for new and existing patients. You will play a crucial role in providing excellent service by handling patient inquiries, scheduling appointments, and making outbound calls to follow up on leads. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who has a background in dentistry and a passion for helping others.
Responsibilities:
Answer incoming calls from new and existing patients, providing information about services, appointment scheduling, and answering questions.
Make outbound calls to leads, reminding them of upcoming appointments or encouraging them to book consultations.
Schedule and confirm patient appointments, ensuring accuracy and availability.
Ensure a positive patient experience through friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient service.
Provide accurate information regarding treatment plans, insurance options, and available dental services.
Maintain accurate records of patient interactions and appointments.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure patient needs are met.
Keep up to date with current dental procedures and office policies to provide the best customer service.
Qualifications:
Dental knowledge and/or experience in the dental field is preferred.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with patients.
Ability to handle high call volumes while maintaining professionalism and accuracy.
Proficiency in using phone systems and basic office software (experience with dental management software is a plus).
Detail-oriented and organized with strong follow-up skills.
Positive, friendly attitude and a team player.
