Responsibilities

Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared.
Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) while adhering to safety protocols.
Maintain accurate medical records and patient information in compliance with privacy regulations.
Perform basic laboratory tasks, including preparing prosthodontic materials and assisting with impressions.
Manage infection control by adhering to aseptic techniques and sterilization protocols.
Provide patient education on oral hygiene, post-operative care, and treatment plans.
Schedule appointments and manage patient flow efficiently within the office.
Support front office duties as needed, including dental receptionist tasks.

ExperienceCandidates should possess the following skills and qualifications:

Proficiency in dental assisting practices with hands-on experience in a clinical setting.
Familiarity with dental radiograph (X-rays) techniques and the ability to operate related equipment.
Knowledge of dental software systems such as Dentrix is preferred.
Ability to maintain organized medical records and manage patient documentation effectively.
Strong communication skills to interact positively with patients and team members.
Aseptic technique knowledge is essential for maintaining a safe clinical environment.
