Full-Time Dental Hygienist Two Locations – Sunrise Dental Group and Towncare Dental of Fort Lauderdale
Sunrise Dental Group and Towncare Dental of Fort Lauderdale is looking for a full-Time Dental Hygienist to join our clinical team by providing a high level of patient care and satisfaction in a team-based environment. We take pride in offering comprehensive, personalized dental care in a warm and welcoming setting, prioritizing patient comfort and using advanced treatments for optimal oral health.

This role focuses on delivering high-quality dental care through comprehensive oral health services and patient education. Responsibilities:

Perform routine dental cleanings and periodontal maintenance
Conduct oral health assessments and take dental X-rays
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and preventative care
Assist dentists with exams and treatments as needed
Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with industry regulations
Follow sterilization and infection control protocols

Qualifications:

Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program
Active or pending Florida Hygiene License
X-Ray License required
Certification in local anesthesia (if applicable)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Detail-oriented with a commitment to patient care and comfort

Responsibilities:

Essential Responsibilities

Through the delivery of periodontal therapies and other hygiene-related services, Dental Hygienists are committed to improving the oral health of patients. Candidates must be enthusiastic about their dental work, and willing to provide the highest level of care at all times
Under limited supervision, the Dental Hygienist provides oral hygiene dental treatment and oral hygiene care and education in accordance with guidelines approved, issued, and regulated by the state in which they work.
Patient screening, medical history and dental charting.
Application of fluoride and protective sealants. Removal of calculus, stain and plaque from above and below the gum line.
Provides nutritional counseling, and self-care programs to prevent disease.
Other duties as assigned
