Eastern Carolina Dental is currently looking for a Registered Dental Hygienist to join our team!.
We have a Full time or Part time hygienist position available. A great attitude, team oriented/strong work ethic, and a desire to provide the very best in patient care are our the most important qualities we are looking for.
Registered Dental Hygienist Duties

Aides in detection of oral diseases such as caries, and periodontal disease.
Performs visual exams, instrumentation and radiograph exposure.
Removes calculus deposits and stains from teeth. Maintains esthetic upkeep of removable appliances.
Applies fluorides, sealants and educates about proper oral care.
Educates patients about periodontal and plaque control methods, recommends office and home regimen treatment plans after thorough evaluation.

Registered Dental Hygienist Requirements

Registered Dental hygienists must be licensed and in good standing with the State of North Carolina.
Associates or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) certificate.
Must be patient focused, with excellent customer service qualities
Willingness to work in fast paced environment with a team
