Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality dental care to our patients, ensuring their oral health is maintained through effective hygiene practices. As a Dental Hygienist, you will work closely with the dental team to deliver exceptional patient experiences while adhering to the highest standards of infection control and safety.
Responsibilities
Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations to assess patients' oral health.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
Take dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed for diagnostic purposes.
Document patient care and treatment plans accurately in the electronic health record system.
Assist in the implementation of infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for both patients and staff.
Collaborate with dentists and other team members to provide comprehensive care, including four-handed dentistry techniques.
Maintain knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and general dentistry practices to effectively communicate with patients and staff.
Stay updated on advancements in dental hygiene practices and technologies.
ExperienceCandidates should possess:
A valid state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist.
Experience working in a dental office or clinic setting is preferred.
Familiarity with Dentrix or similar dental software systems is advantageous.
Knowledge of medical coding, infection control standards, and medical imaging techniques is a plus.
Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients and provide excellent customer service.

Pay: $47.56 - $50.34 per hour
Expected hours: 16 â 40 per week
