PERIODONTAL THERAPIST WANTED-Our team of professionals are in search of a career minded RDH who wishes to combine superlative periodontal technical skills with the ability to provide excellent dental care to our patients. Our patient centered practice is dedicated to providing comprehensive dentistry with a team of caring, experienced and motivated staff. Responsibilities

Assess patient’s oral health condition and identify problems or complaints
Perform mouth washing, chewing, flossing, and cleaning
Injecting, cleaning, and removing oral infections
Use instruments to collect blood and saliva samples
Measure patients' blood pressure and temperature
Explain treatment procedures to the patient in a concise and accurate information
Act as an advocate for patients by keeping them updated on current medical knowledge, procedures, and best practices
Maintain accurate records of patient history and material results of treatment

Skills

Proven experience as Dental Hygienist or similar role
In-depth knowledge of dental equipment and instruments (e.g. x-ray unit)
Knowledge of health & safety regulations (e.g. OSHA)
Outstanding communication skills
Friendly attitude with excellent customer service skills
Ability to perform regulated non-surgical tasks like checking for caries during treatment and preparing patients for treatments (e.g. removing grime from deciduous teeth or cleaning crowns)
Dental hygienist license (preferred)

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $34.00 - $37.00 per hour
