Job SummaryWe are looking for a Registered Dental Hygienist to join our established practice. Must have excellent communication skills, have a detail-oriented focus and work well in a team atmosphere. The ideal candidate for this position is proficient in all standards of dental hygiene. Our office focuses on promoting teamwork and a positive atmosphere to both work in and provide for our patients. We have a stable long term staff of 10+ years. We have an appreciative, caring, & generous Doctor, as well as a fun and friendly team!
Duties- Perform dental hygiene procedures, including cleaning, scaling and polishing teeth- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care- Take dental x-rays- Maintain accurate patient records- Ensure infection control protocols are followed; maintain a work area appropriate to a clinical environment in compliance with environmental health and safety standards- Collaborate with the dental team to provide comprehensive patient care
Experience- Ability to work with Eaglesoft software for dental procedures- Prior experience in general dentistry preferred (familiarity with pediatric dentistry is a plus)
Qualifications- Registered Dental Hygienist certification
- Local Anesthesia Certified
- Basic Cardiac Life Support
- Nitrous Oxide Analgesia Certified
Schedule
- 2 days per week- MONDAY & TUESDAY
- 8 hour shift ( 8:00 am-5:00pm)
- Lunch from 1:00 pm-2:00 pm
