Miles of Smiles is looking for a full time Dental Hygienist. This is an opportunity to join a 10-person team of highly trained professionals. The practice has 6 treatment rooms, digital charts and radiographs, CBCT, iTero, Zoom Whitening and intraoral cameras.
Only 40 miles from Boston and close to the Seacoast Region.

Responsibilities:
Perform dental hygiene procedures, including cleaning, scaling, and polishing teeth
Conduct patient assessments to determine oral health conditions and identify any issues or concerns
Take and record patients' vital signs, including blood pressure and pulse rate
Assist with dental procedures by providing necessary instruments and materials to the dentist
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide recommendations for at-home care
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using electronic medical record systems such as Open Dental
Follow infection control protocols to ensure a safe and clean environment for patients and staff
Collaborate with the dental team to develop and implement treatment plans for patients

Requirements:
Valid state license as a Dental Hygienist
Proficiency in using dental software systems such as Open Dental for medical documentation and record keeping
Knowledge of dental office procedures and practices
Familiarity with medical coding and billing processes
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and explain treatment plans
Attention to detail to accurately assess patient conditions and document findings
Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate with other dental professionals
