Position Summary:
We are looking for an upbeat and friendly clinical assistant that can help with clinical duties for our Frankfort location.
Experience with dental assisting is preferred but not required.
We are willing to train the right candidates that are motivated to become a pediatric dental assistant. Some of our best dental assistants have come from a paraprofessional, medical assistant, veterinary assistant, or other clinical healthcare assistant background. If you have a strong interest in breaking into the field, we encourage you to apply!
Some key qualities we are looking for: respectful, exceptional service and people skills, team player, good communicator, flexible, efficient, stays on time, willing to take direction, loves kids!
Coronal polish / sealant / scaling certified is plus but not required. We can help you obtain your certifications.
Clinical Responsibilities:

Assist the Doctors with various pediatric dental procedures.
Maintain customer service and excellence.
Obtain dental x-rays.
Maintain suctions and cleaning vacuum traps.
Maintain dental equipment and materials.
Maintain operatories, sterilization and office.
Help manage inventory/ordering.
Follow OSHA protocol for cleaning operatories.
Maintain a safe environment.
General upkeep and cleaning of office.

Schedule:

Full time (30-40 hours) preferred.

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
