Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental team. Responsibilities

Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history review and vital signs monitoring.
Perform dental cleanings, scaling, and root planing procedures while ensuring patient comfort.
Utilize medical imaging systems to capture necessary diagnostic images as part of patient evaluations.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
Maintain accurate patient records, documenting treatments performed and any changes in oral health.
Adhere to infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for both patients and staff.
Assist in pediatric dentistry by providing care tailored to younger patients' needs.
Stay updated on dental terminology and anatomy knowledge to enhance patient care quality.

Qualifications

Valid Dental Hygienist license in the state of Indiana.
Proficient in medical terminology and dental terminology relevant to the field.
Experience with patient assessment techniques and familiarity with vital signs monitoring.
Knowledge of infection control standards within a dental clinic setting.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages.
