Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to patients, ensuring their comfort and safety while performing a variety of clinical tasks. This role is essential in promoting oral health and educating patients about proper hygiene practices.
Duties

Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history and oral health evaluations.
Perform dental cleanings, scaling, and root planing procedures.
Apply preventive materials such as fluoride treatments.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Ensure infection control protocols are followed to maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.
Collaborate with the dental team to provide comprehensive care, including assisting in pediatric dentistry when necessary.
Utilize Dentrix for patient management and record keeping.

Experience

A valid Dental Hygienist license is required.
Experience in pediatric dentistry is preferred but not mandatory.
Familiarity with infection control procedures and medical record management is essential.
Proficiency in using dental software systems such as Dentrix is a plus.
