Job Description
SmileCraft Dental Studio is seeking a motivated and organized dental front desk receptionist and scheduling coordinator to join our team! The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing patient interactions, scheduling appointments, and ensuring smooth daily operations at our dental office.
Key Responsibilities:
Answer and manage incoming phone calls, emails, and text messages in a professional manner.
Greet and check in patients as they arrive, ensuring a positive first impression.
Schedule and confirm appointments, coordinating with the dental team to optimize patient flow.
Manage lab cases by checking cases in, scheduling case deliveres, and tracking lab invoices.
Perform insurance verifications to ensure coverage and benefits (preferred).
Handle patient inquiries, providing excellent customer service and addressing concerns effectively.
Maintain a clean and organized front desk area.
Assist with administrative tasks, including filing, data entry, and maintaining patient records.
Collaborate with dental staff to ensure efficient office operations.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in healthcare administration is a plus.
Previous experience in a dental or healthcare setting preferred; customer service experience is essential.
Open Dental software experience is preferred.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Knowledge of insurance verification processes and procedures is preferred.
Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Skills:
Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling patient information.
A team player with a positive attitude and willingness to assist others.
