OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental clinic. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in promoting oral health and providing exceptional patient care. You will work closely with our dental team to ensure that patients receive the highest standard of hygiene services while adhering to all safety and regulatory protocols.
Responsibilities
Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history and oral health evaluations.
Perform dental cleanings, scaling, and root planing procedures.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
Maintain accurate documentation of patient treatments and progress in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Assist in pediatric dentistry procedures as needed, ensuring a comfortable experience for young patients.
Utilize dental software such as Dentrix and Eaglesoft for scheduling, documentation, and patient management.
Review documentation for accuracy and completeness, ensuring all records meet clinic standards.
Collaborate with dentists and other staff members to provide comprehensive patient care.
Stay updated on the latest dental hygiene practices and technologies.
Experience
Previous experience as a Dental Hygienist in a clinical setting is preferred.
Familiarity with dental software such as Dentrix or Eaglesoft is highly desirable.
Knowledge of medical coding and documentation review processes is a plus.
Experience in pediatric dentistry is beneficial but not required.
Strong communication skills to effectively educate patients about oral health practices.
Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment while providing excellent patient care.

Pay: $54.36 - $56.55 per hour
