OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to our patients while ensuring their comfort and understanding of oral health practices. This role requires a strong foundation in dental hygiene practices, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to patient care.
Responsibilities

Conduct thorough patient assessments, including reviewing medical histories and performing oral examinations.
Provide preventive dental care, including cleanings, scaling, and polishing teeth.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
Assist in the development of individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
Maintain accurate patient records using dental software such as Eaglesoft.
Collaborate with dentists and other staff members to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Stay updated on the latest advancements in dental hygiene practices and technologies.

Skills

Strong knowledge of anatomy related to oral health.
Experience in dental assisting is preferred.
Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to dentistry.
Understanding of general dentistry practices and procedures.
Proficient in patient assessment techniques.
Experience working in a dental office environment.
Skills in medical imaging techniques used in dentistry.
Knowledge of pediatric dentistry principles is a plus.
Proficiency with Eaglesoft or similar dental practice management software.
