Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dentist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing high-quality dental care and a commitment to patient comfort and satisfaction. As a Dentist, you will be responsible for diagnosing and treating various dental conditions, performing procedures, and educating patients on oral health practices. You will work collaboratively with our dental team to ensure the highest standards of care in a supportive environment.
Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive oral examinations to assess the dental health of patients.
Diagnose and treat dental issues including cavities, gum disease, and other oral health conditions.
Perform a variety of dental procedures such as fillings, extractions, root canals (endodontics), and oral surgeries.
Administer anesthesia and ensure patient comfort during procedures.
Implement infection control protocols to maintain a safe clinical environment.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and preventive care.
Maintain accurate patient records using electronic health record systems like Epic.
Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and other staff in providing quality care.
Stay updated on advancements in dentistry through continuing education.

Requirements

Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
Valid state dental license to practice dentistry.
Proficiency in general dentistry techniques; experience in pediatric dentistry is a plus.
Knowledge of medical terminology and infection control practices.
Familiarity with aseptic techniques and four-handed dentistry is preferred.
Experience with oral surgery procedures is advantageous.
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and staff.
Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
