Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, performing dental cleanings, and educating patients on oral hygiene practices. This role requires a strong understanding of dental terminology, anatomy, and the ability to work effectively within a team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Duties
Conduct thorough dental cleanings and examinations to assess the oral health of patients.
Utilize four-handed dentistry techniques to assist the dentist during procedures.
Maintain accurate medical records and documentation using systems such as Eaglesoft.
Review patient documentation and medical imaging to identify any areas of concern.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits.
Collaborate with other dental office staff to ensure a smooth workflow and excellent patient care.
Stay updated on advancements in dental hygiene practices and technologies.
Qualifications
Valid Dental Hygienist license in the state of practice.
Proficiency in dental terminology and anatomy knowledge.
Experience with medical records systems and documentation review is preferred.
Strong patient care skills with a compassionate approach to treatment.
Familiarity with medical imaging techniques is a plus.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment.
