Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, performing dental cleanings, and assisting in the overall management of patient oral health. This role requires a strong understanding of general dentistry practices, medical terminology, and patient assessment techniques to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities

Conduct thorough dental cleanings and examinations to assess patients' oral health.
Perform medical imaging procedures as needed to support diagnosis and treatment planning.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits.
Document patient information accurately in the electronic health record system, including medical coding as required.
Monitor vital signs and maintain accurate records during patient visits.
Collaborate with dentists and other staff members to provide comprehensive patient care.
Maintain a clean and organized dental clinic environment in compliance with safety standards.

Qualifications

Valid dental hygiene license in accordance with state regulations.
Strong knowledge of medical terminology, medical imaging, and patient care protocols
Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient education and comfort.
Ability to perform patient assessments effectively and provide tailored oral health recommendations.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of care.
