Dental Hygienist - Taher Family Dental - West Boylston, MA

Job Summary
We are a friendly, family practice in West Boylston, MA. We are looking for a full-time RDH to work 4 days (Monday – Thursday).
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, conducting thorough dental cleanings, and educating patients on oral hygiene practices. This role is essential in ensuring the overall health and well-being of our patients while maintaining a safe and aseptic environment in the clinic.
Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive dental cleanings and assessments for patients of all ages, including those in pediatric dentistry.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental care.
Assist in the diagnosis of oral diseases by conducting medical imaging and utilizing medical terminology effectively.
Maintain accurate patient records, including medical histories and treatment plans, while adhering to infection control protocols.
Collaborate with dentists to develop treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
Utilize aseptic techniques to ensure a safe working environment for both patients and staff.
Stay updated on advancements in dental hygiene practices and participate in continuing education opportunities.

Skills

Proficiency in medical coding related to dental procedures is preferred.
Experience working in a dental clinic or office setting is highly desirable.
Strong understanding of general dentistry practices and pediatric dentistry principles.
Excellent patient care skills with a focus on creating a positive patient experience.
Knowledge of infection control measures and ability to implement them effectively.
Familiarity with medical imaging technologies used in dental diagnostics.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to educate patients clearly and effectively.
Local anesthesia license is preferred but not mandatory
