Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality dental care to our patients, ensuring their oral health is maintained and improved. The Dental Hygienist will work closely with the dental team to deliver exceptional patient experiences while adhering to all safety and health regulations.
Responsibilities

Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations, including scaling and polishing teeth.
Assess patients' oral health by taking vital signs and reviewing medical histories.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits.
Document patient treatment plans, progress notes, and other relevant information in medical records.
Assist in the management of infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
Conduct medical imaging procedures as needed, including X-rays.
Collaborate with dentists in providing comprehensive care for pediatric and general dentistry patients.
Maintain accurate documentation of patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.

Experience

A valid state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist is required.
Previous experience in a dental clinic setting is preferred but not mandatory.
Familiarity with medical terminology, documentation review, and infection control practices is essential.
Experience working with pediatric patients is a plus.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team are essential for success in this role.
