OverviewEssence Dentistry is a growing private practice dental office providing conservative hygiene care to our patients! We are in need of a Registered Dental Hygienist with a minimum of 2 years of experience, but those with less experience are still welcome to apply.
Pay ranges from $35-$48 based on experience.
We are seeking a gentle, but thorough hygienist, who can keep our patients comfortable and clean! We value education and prioritize giving our patients the best treatment possible.
Must be willing to scan with an Itero Intraoral Scanner.
Duties

Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling, polishing, and fluoride treatments. Monitor patients on nitrous oxide.
Conduct patient assessments, including taking medical histories and vital signs.
Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques, recognize and treat periodontal disease and emphasize the importance of regular dental visits.
Assist in documenting dental treatment plans based on patient needs.
Maintain infection control protocols.
Utilize CBCT/Pano/digital sensors to capture diagnostic x-rays as needed.
Document patient care accurately in Open Dental.
Collaborate with the dental team to provide comprehensive care.
Stay updated on advancements in dental hygiene practices and participate in continuing education.

Qualifications

Valid state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist.
Proficiency in infection control procedures and protocols.
Experience or knowledge in general dentistry practices is preferred.
Familiarity with pediatric dentistry. The role involves treating children.
Ability to chart dental treatment.
Strong communication skills and compassionate patient care.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
