OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental clinic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of dental hygiene practices and a passion for providing exceptional patient care. This role is essential in promoting oral health and educating patients on effective hygiene practices while ensuring a comfortable experience during their visits.

Duties

Conduct thorough dental cleanings and examinations to assess patients' oral health.
Utilize medical imaging techniques to capture high-quality radiographs for diagnostic purposes.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, including brushing, flossing, and dietary recommendations.
Maintain accurate patient records using dental systems such as Eaglesoft, ensuring all medical terminology and coding are correctly applied.
Implement infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for both patients and staff.
Stay updated on advancements in dental hygiene practices and participate in continuing education opportunities.
Work with pediatric patients to create a positive experience and promote good oral health habits from an early age.

Qualifications

Valid dental hygiene license in the state of practice.
Strong knowledge of anatomy, medical terminology, and infection control procedures.
Experience working in a dental clinic setting is highly desirable.
Proficiency in using dental software systems, particularly Open Dental, is advantageous.
Excellent communication skills to effectively educate and interact with patients of all ages.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment while maintaining professionalism.
