Sterilization Assistant for Dental Office - Zehren Dental - Winona, MN

We are seeking a detail-oriented Dental Sterilization Assistant to join our team!
Duties:

Works with dentist to assist with dental procedures for examination, diagnostic and treatment procedures.
Provides education related to procedures (postsurgical/presurgical) for both patient and family members.
Turn-over dental operatories (sterilizing and decontaminating surfaces).
Maintain order and cleanliness of sterilization area.
Inspect, assemble, package, label and sterilize instruments and equipment.
Follow proper sterilization procedures for all instruments and equipment.
Clean and lubricate dental hand pieces/accessories, instrument cassettes, and bur blocks.
Ensure sterilized instruments readily available for clinic efficiency.
Medical history review and updates.
Maintain appropriate inventory of supplies and proper equipment maintenance.
Carries out miscellaneous lab, office and additional duties as needed.
Required to document clinical notes in the patient’s chart.
Performs other job-related responsibilities as requested or assigned.
Perform daily, weekly, and quarterly preventative maintenance on instruments and hand pieces.
"floating" and supporting other team members with patient care.

****Experience in a dental office is a HUGE plus, but we will train the right candidate!****

Monday: 11:00 am - 07:00 pm
Tuesday: 08:00 am - 05:00 pm
Wednesday: 08:00 am - 05:00 pm
Thursday: 08:00 am - 05:00 pm
Friday: 09:00 am – 12:00 pm (as needed)

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
