Job Description
Dr Boeschenstein & Dr Middleton Family Dentistry is opening its doors for another talented, friendly, and strong hygienist in Jenison MI! We are currently looking for a Full/Part Time Hygienist, who is hard working, passionate, caring, fun, and has a desire to grow professionally and become part of an amazing team.

Responsibilities
Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history reviews and oral examinations.
Perform dental cleanings, scaling, and root planing procedures to maintain optimal oral hygiene.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
Document patient care accurately in accordance with office protocols and dental terminology.
Assist in four-handed dentistry by providing support during various dental procedures.
Implement infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for both patients and staff.
Work collaboratively with the dental team to provide comprehensive care, including pediatric dentistry when necessary.
Maintain an organized and efficient dental office environment.
ExperienceThe ideal candidate should possess the following skills and qualifications:
Proven experience in patient care within a dental setting.
Familiarity with Dentrix software for documentation and scheduling purposes is preferred.
Strong knowledge of general dentistry practices and pediatric dentistry principles.
Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members.
Ability to perform documentation reviews meticulously to ensure compliance with industry standards.
Understanding of infection control measures relevant to dental practices.
