Dental Hygienist - James T Schultz D.D.S. - Clinton Township, MI

OverviewWe are seeking a Dental Hygienist from recent graduate to fully seasoned to join our team. We are a relaxed and patient centered office, with friendly and supportive staff. Office hours are: Monday-Thursday 9-6pm (one hour lunch). This position is 1-2 days.
Responsibilities

Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history reviews and oral examinations.
Perform dental cleanings, scaling, and root planning procedures to maintain optimal oral health.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
Review documentation for accuracy and completeness prior to patient appointments.
Assist in infection control procedures to maintain a safe and sterile environment for both patients and staff.
Collaborate with the dental team to develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
Stay current with advancements in dental hygiene practices and medical terminology.

Qualifications

Valid state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist.
Previous experience in a dental office setting is preferred.
Strong knowledge of patient care protocols and infection control practices.
DEXIS Imaging.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to educate patients effectively.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills for documentation review.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while maintaining a compassionate approach towards patient care.
