Job Description
OverviewWe are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Dental Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the dental laboratory, working collaboratively with dentists to create high-quality dental prosthetics and appliances. This position requires a strong understanding of dental anatomy, medical documentation, and laboratory procedures, as well as proficiency in modern technology such as CAD systems. A commitment to infection control and patient safety is essential.
Responsibilities
Fabricate dental prosthetics including crowns, bridges, dentures, and orthodontic appliances based on prescriptions from dentists.
Utilize CAD software for designing and modeling dental restorations.
Perform medical imaging to assist in the accurate creation of dental devices.
Maintain accurate medical documentation for all procedures and materials used.
Adhere to strict infection control protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
Assist in the training of new technicians and support staff as needed.
Collaborate with dental professionals to discuss treatment plans and ensure quality standards are met.
Stay updated on advancements in dental technology and techniques.
Skills
Proficient in medical imaging techniques relevant to dentistry.
Knowledge of vital signs and basic patient care principles.
Experience assisting in pediatric dentistry is a plus.
Strong understanding of anatomy as it pertains to dental health.
Familiarity with medical documentation practices within a laboratory setting.
Experience working in a laboratory environment with an emphasis on precision and detail.
Proficient in CAD software for designing dental appliances.
Knowledge of infection control measures specific to healthcare settings.
Understanding of medical coding related to dental procedures is advantageous.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
