Key Responsibilities:

Perform thorough cleaning and scaling of teeth, removing plaque, tartar, and stains
Take and develop dental x-rays
Conduct patient assessments, including reviewing medical histories and recommending treatment
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and overall oral health
Assist the dentist during procedures, providing support as needed
Maintain accurate patient records and update treatment plans
Ensure the sterilization and organization of dental instruments and equipment
Stay up to date with current best practices and dental hygiene techniques

Qualifications:

Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Dental Hygienist
Valid state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist
Strong knowledge of dental hygiene procedures, techniques, and best practices
Experience with dental software and patient management systems
Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Detail-oriented and organized with a commitment to patient care
CPR certification (preferred)
