The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, performing thorough assessments, and ensuring the highest standards of infection control. You will play a vital role in educating patients on oral health and hygiene practices while working closely with our dental team to deliver exceptional service.
Duties
Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical history reviews and oral examinations.
Provide direct patient care by performing dental cleanings, scaling, and root planing procedures.
Implement infection control protocols to maintain a safe and sterile environment.
Utilize dental software for managing patient records and scheduling appointments.
Apply knowledge of dental terminology to communicate effectively with patients and staff.
Employ aseptic techniques during procedures to minimize the risk of infection.
Perform medical imaging as needed, including X-rays, to assist in diagnosis and treatment planning.
Maintain accurate medical records and documentation for all patient interactions.
Provide education to patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care strategies, including pediatric dentistry when applicable.
Qualifications
Valid state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist.
Strong knowledge of patient assessment techniques and patient care practices.
Familiarity with infection control standards and protocols in a dental setting.
Proficiency in using digital dental practice management software is preferred.
Understanding of dental terminology and ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members.
Experience with aseptic technique and taking digital images.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail in maintaining medical records.

Pay: $50.00 - $55.00 per hour
