Permanent Dental Hygienist Job in Siloam Springs, AR
Responsibilities:- Perform dental hygiene procedures, including cleaning, scaling, and polishing teeth- Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide oral health instructions- Take dental x-rays- Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide as needed- Assist the dentist during procedures and maintain a sterile working environment- Document patient information, treatment plans, and progress notes in electronic medical records- Follow infection control protocols to ensure the safety of patients and staff
Skills:- Proficient in dental office systems and software, such as EagleSoft systems- Strong knowledge of dental documentation and record keeping- Excellent patient assessment skills to identify oral health issues- Thorough understanding of infection control protocols and practices- Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate with other dental professionals- Experience in dental assisting is a plus
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $60.00 - $65.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 24 per week
