OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality dental care to our patients, ensuring their oral health and comfort. As a Dental Hygienist, you will work closely with the dentist and other staff members in a collaborative environment, utilizing your expertise to deliver exceptional patient care.
Duties

Perform thorough dental cleanings and assessments, including scaling and polishing teeth.
Take and document vital signs of patients to ensure their health and safety during procedures.
Conduct detailed reviews of patient documentation to maintain accurate health records.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits.
Assist the dentist during procedures, employing four-handed dentistry techniques for efficiency.
Utilize dental software such as Eaglesoft and Dentrix for patient management and documentation.
Apply knowledge of medical terminology and medical coding in patient interactions and record keeping.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment within the dental clinic.

Requirements

Valid Dental Hygienist license in the state of practice.
Proficiency in medical terminology relevant to dentistry.
Experience with dental software systems, particularly Eaglesoft and Dentrix, is preferred.
Strong understanding of general dentistry practices and procedures.
Ability to take vital signs accurately and respond appropriately to patient needs.
Excellent communication skills for effective patient education and collaboration with team members.
Previous experience in a dental clinic setting is advantageous but not mandatory.
