Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Part-Time Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) to join our team at our West San Jose office. The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing high-quality dental care and patient education. This role requires a strong commitment to patient assessment, documentation, and collaboration with the dental team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities

Conduct thorough patient assessments and oral health evaluations.
Perform dental cleanings and administer preventive care treatments.
Maintain accurate dental records and documentation for each patient visit.
Review documentation for compliance with dental coding standards.
Assist in the management of patient appointments and follow-up care.
Collaborate with dentists and other staff members to provide comprehensive care.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits.
Monitor vital signs as needed during patient assessments.

ExperienceCandidates should possess the following skills and experience:

Proficiency in Dentrix or Eaglesoft software for managing patient records.
Strong understanding of medical terminology related to dental care.
Experience in dental assisting is a plus but not required.
Familiarity with medical records management and documentation review processes.
Ability to assess vital signs and understand their relevance in dental health.
Previous experience working with pediatric patients is preferred but not mandatory.
