Work Schedule:

Monday-Thursday 9:45am-7pm

Your Administrative and Chairside Role & Responsibilities:

Create a warm, safe, and welcoming environment for patients
Assist with sterilization and organization of instruments and materials
Support chairside procedures, including passing instruments, suctioning, and radiograph development
Maintain and troubleshoot dental equipment, ensuring a seamless experience for both patients and providers
Assist with inventory tracking and supply management
Educate patients on oral hygiene, plaque control, and post-treatment care
Accurately document patient records and ensure compliance with best practices
Work alongside a skilled team of professionals committed to patient-centered care
Operate the multi-line telephone system - answering, screening, and directing calls, taking messages, and scheduling appointments
Greet visitors and callers warmly, address inquiries, and efficiently direct them to the appropriate team member
File and maintain records, sort mail, manage courier deliveries, and accurately input data into our systems

Qualifications We Look For:

High school diploma or equivalent (Preferred)
CODA-accredited Dental Assistant program certificate (Preferred)
Current NY Dental Assistant License or DANB CDA, ICE & RHS Certifications (state-dependent)
CPR Certification
Minimum of 1-2 years of dental assisting experience (Required)
Prior front desk experience in a dental or medical office (Required)
Proficiency with taking diagnostic quality x-rays (Required)
Strong communication, organizational, and multi-tasking skills
Eagerness to learn, grow, and provide the highest level of patient care
English bilingualism with Spanish, Hindi, or Bengali (Preferred)
