Our Milwaukee Family Private Practice is looking for an energetic, vibrant and professional Dental Hygienist to treat patients and provide the highest quality dental care. Full-time or Part-time Hours Available; HOURS ARE VERY FLEXIBLE· Monday: 9am-6pm· Tuesday: 9am-6pm· Wednesday: 9am-4pm· Thursday: 9am-6pm
Dental Hygienist Job Duties and Responsibilities· Examine patient for signs of oral disease and check oral health history· Identify conditions like gingivitis or periodontitis· Clean and maintain patients’ oral health (e.g. remove plaque/calculus and apply fluoride)
· Administer anesthetics as needed· Maintain instruments by sterilizing, sharpening and selecting instruments
· Take X-rays· Educate patients of all ages on proper teeth care (by demonstrating, for example, good brushing techniques)· Maintain documentation and charts on each patient and review patient medical histories
Skills· Proven experience as Dental Hygienist· In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations in this profession (e.g. HIPAA)
· Pay Attention to details· Experience in preparing and maintaining dental instruments/equipment· Outstanding communication skills· Time management Skills· A patient and friendly personality
· Teamwork· Experience with Eaglesoft is helpful but not required
Education· Minimum of an Associate's degree in Dental Hygiene· Valid Dental Hygiene license to practice in the state of Wisconsin· CPR Certified
Wage is TBD - compensation will be commensurate with experience.
