Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing quality patient care and will play a crucial role in assisting our dental team with various procedures. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Experience and love for problem solving and Advanced General Dentistry and familiarity with dental software is highly desirable - this is not a 'drill and fill' office and desiring to educate your patients and be a lifelong learner a must! Responsibilities
Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow.
Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary supplies are ready.
Take dental radiographs (X-rays) while adhering to safety protocols.
Maintain accurate medical documentation and patient records in compliance with regulations.
Educate patients on procedures, oral hygiene and health practices and post-treatment care.
Manage appointment scheduling and assist with front desk duties as needed, including patient check-in and check-out.
Ensure compliance with aseptic techniques to maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.
Support the dental team in various tasks related to sleep dentistry, orthotdontics, endodontics, pediatric dentistry, and other specialties.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Dental Assistant or similar role is preferred.
Knowledge of dental software systems such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix is an advantage.
Familiarity with medical imaging techniques and anatomy knowledge.
Understanding of aseptic techniques and infection control protocols.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients, families, and team members.
Certification in dental assisting or relevant qualifications is preferred but not mandatory.

Pay: $23.00 - $27.00 per hour
