**Job Title:** Dental Hygienist **Job Summary:** We are seeking a skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing quality dental care and promoting good oral health practices. As a Dental Hygienist, you will work closely with dentists to assist in patient care and perform various tasks to ensure optimal dental hygiene. **Responsibilities:** - Conduct dental cleanings and assist dentists during procedures - Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques - Perform dental screenings and assessments - Take and develop dental x-rays - Maintain accurate patient records including medical documentation - Administer local anesthesia under the dentist's supervision - Follow aseptic techniques to ensure infection control - Utilize medical coding and terminology for billing purposes - Assist in four-handed dentistry procedures - Monitor vital signs during dental procedures - Uphold HIPAA compliance standards - Collaborate with the dental team to deliver comprehensive patient care **Qualifications:** - Degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program - State licensure as a Dental Hygienist - Proficiency in general dentistry procedures - Knowledge of patient assessment techniques - Familiarity with dental assisting duties - Strong understanding of medical coding and documentation - Ability to perform four-handed dentistry efficiently - Excellent communication skills and patient care abilities **Nice-to-Have Skills:** - Experience with HIPAA regulations and compliance Join our team and contribute to providing exceptional dental care to our patients.
