Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, performing dental cleanings, and educating patients on oral hygiene practices. This role requires a strong commitment to infection control and the ability to work effectively with both children and adults in a friendly and professional manner.
Responsibilities
Perform thorough dental cleanings and periodontal assessments for patients.
Assist in the documentation review of patient medical records and maintain accurate treatment records.
Take and review vital signs to ensure patient safety prior to procedures.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
Collaborate with dentists in developing treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
Ensure compliance with infection control protocols to maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.
Provide support in pediatric dentistry, ensuring a comfortable experience for younger patients.
Utilize Dentrix software for patient management, scheduling, and record keeping.
Skills
Proficient in dental assisting techniques and practices.
Strong knowledge of infection control standards in a dental setting.
Experience with pediatric dentistry is preferred but not required.
Excellent communication skills to effectively educate patients about their oral health.
Ability to perform documentation review accurately and efficiently.
Familiarity with taking vital signs as part of patient assessments.
Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $51.00 - $53.00 per hour
Expected hours: 16 â 24 per week
