Hygienist Needed for Weekday Evenings! Earn Up to $100 an hour!
OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care while promoting oral health and hygiene. This role involves working closely with patients to ensure their comfort and understanding of dental procedures, as well as collaborating with dentists to deliver high-quality dental services in a supportive environment.
Responsibilities
Conduct thorough dental cleanings and examinations to assess patient oral health.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
Document patient medical histories and maintain accurate records using Dentrix software.
Perform medical imaging procedures, including X-rays, to assist in diagnosis and treatment planning.
Implement aseptic techniques to ensure a safe and sterile working environment.
Assist in pediatric dentistry by providing care tailored to younger patients.
Collaborate with the dental team in four-handed dentistry practices to enhance efficiency during procedures.
Stay current with advancements in general dentistry practices and continue professional development.
Skills
Strong patient care skills with a focus on empathy and communication.
Proficient in medical terminology relevant to dental practices.
Experience working in a dental clinic setting, familiar with daily operations.
Knowledge of medical imaging techniques and equipment.
Proficiency in Dentrix or similar dental software systems.
Understanding of aseptic techniques to maintain infection control standards.
Experience or interest in pediatrics is a plus for engaging younger patients effectively.
Familiarity with four-handed dentistry principles to optimize workflow during procedures.
Comprehensive knowledge of general dentistry practices and procedures.
