Part-Time Dental Hygienist Wanted â Up to $100/hr â Surprise, AZ
Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to patients, ensuring their comfort, and promoting good oral health practices. The Dental Hygienist will work closely with dentists and other staff members in a fast-paced dental clinic environment.
Duties
Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations to assess patients' oral health.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
Utilize aseptic techniques to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
Assist in pediatric dentistry procedures, ensuring a positive experience for young patients.
Document patient information accurately in the Dentrix system, including medical history and treatment plans.
Apply knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy to effectively communicate with patients and staff.
Utilize four-handed dentistry techniques to assist the dentist during procedures efficiently.
Stay updated with advancements in dental hygiene practices and technologies.
ExperienceCandidates should possess experience in a dental office setting, demonstrating proficiency in medical coding, knowledge of systems used in dental clinics, and familiarity with pediatric dentistry. A strong understanding of aseptic techniques, anatomy knowledge, and experience with Dentrix software is highly desirable. Pay: Up to $100.00 per hour
