Duties:
- Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures- Prepare patients for dental work- Take and process X-rays- Provide patients with instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment procedures- Maintain accurate patient records
Skills:
- Proficiency in dental assisting techniques- Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures- Experience with pediatric dentistry is a plus- Ability to perform medical documentation accurately- Familiarity with 3D scanners for dental imaging- Competence in taking vital signs and assisting in endodontic procedures- Understanding of medical records management systems- Previous experience as a dental receptionist would be beneficial
