Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our dental professionals and ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow within the clinic. As a Dental Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting in various dental procedures, maintaining patient comfort, and managing clinical operations. We are willing to train the right person so no experience required. RDA preferred.
Duties

Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, utilizing four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency.
Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary materials are ready for use.
Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) while adhering to safety protocols.
Maintain patient records accurately, including medical history and treatment plans.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
Manage appointment scheduling and assist with front desk duties as needed, including answering phones and greeting patients.
Ensure compliance with aseptic techniques to maintain a safe environment for both patients and staff.
Support various specialties such as endodontics and prosthodontics by providing tailored assistance during procedures.

Skills

Proficient in dental assisting techniques, including knowledge of anatomy relevant to dentistry.
Familiarity with dental clinic systems and software for record management.
Strong understanding of aseptic technique to ensure patient safety.
Ability to perform four-handed dentistry effectively, enhancing the efficiency of dental procedures.
Experience in assisting with endodontic and prosthodontic procedures is highly desirable.
Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients and team members.
Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently within a fast-paced environment.
