Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our dental team in delivering high-quality services. As a Dental Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting with various dental procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow, and maintaining a safe and sterile environment.
Duties
Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are ready for use.
Utilize 3D scanners to capture accurate dental impressions and assist in the creation of dental models.
Maintain aseptic technique throughout all procedures to ensure patient safety and compliance with health regulations.
Document patient information accurately in medical records, including medical history and treatment plans.
Perform basic dental procedures such as taking X-rays, applying fluoride treatments, and assisting with fillings.
Manage appointment scheduling and patient flow to optimize office efficiency.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
Collaborate with the dental team to ensure a positive patient experience.
Experience
Previous experience in dental assisting is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential.
Familiarity with medical documentation processes and systems, including OpenDental, is advantageous.
Knowledge of anatomy related to dentistry is beneficial for effective patient care.
Experience or interest in pediatrics is a plus, as you may work with younger patients.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment are essential for success in this role.

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 12 â 36 per week
