About Us:Summit Family Dental is expanding, and we are looking for an exceptional Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to join our dynamic team! Recently, we’ve undergone renovations to accommodate an associate doctor, and we are excited to grow our team and continue providing high-quality care to our patients. Our office is an upbeat and friendly environment, and Dr. Brown leads with a focus on creating a supportive and positive team culture.
Position: Full-time, Monday through Thursday, 7:45 am - 5:00 pm
Start Date: April 2025
What We Are Looking For:We are seeking a self-sufficient, self-starter who thrives in an independent role yet is eager to add value to a rockstar dental team. The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator, a hard worker, and possess a can-do attitude with a strong ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. This position is perfect for someone who is looking to grow in a supportive and expanding dental practice.
Key Responsibilities:

Assist the dentist during dental procedures
Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments
Take and develop dental x-rays
Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-operative care
Perform dental charting and documentation
Assist with pediatric dental procedures
Conduct patient assessments and record medical history
Manage and maintain patient records using electronic dental record systems (e.g. Archy)
Utilize computer-aided design (CAD) software for dental prosthetics

Qualifications:

Completion of an accredited dental assistant program preferred
Experience working in a dental office preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and instruments
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Positive attitude, dependable, and highly motivated
