OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dentist to join our NEW dental practice located in Middletown, NY!
The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to patients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction throughout their treatment. As a Dentist, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing and treating oral health issues, while also educating patients on proper dental hygiene and preventive care.
Duties

Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to determine oral health needs.
Perform various dental procedures including restorative, endodontic, and preventive treatments.
Maintain accurate medical documentation and patient records using Open Dental software.
Implement infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and treatment options.
Collaborate with dental hygienists and assistants to provide efficient patient care.
Stay updated on advancements in dental technology and techniques.

Skills

Proficiency in four-handed dentistry to enhance workflow efficiency.
Strong understanding of dental terminology for effective communication with patients and staff.
Experience with medical documentation practices for accurate record keeping.
Knowledge of endodontics to perform root canal treatments as needed.
Familiarity with infection control measures to maintain a safe clinical environment.
Ability to utilize software such as Open Dental for patient management.
Competence in patient assessment techniques to evaluate oral health status.
