Job Description
Summary of Responsibilities:

Deliver comprehensive pediatric dental care to patients in Ambulatory Clinic and OR.
Supervise pediatric Dental Housestaff and Adult Dental General Practice Residents.
Supervise ancillary staff: Dental Hygienists and Dental Assistants.

Minimum Qualifications
Dentists Practicing General DentistryAssignment Level I1. Possession of a valid license to practice dentistry in the State of New York; and2. One (1) year of full-time licensed experience in the practice of General Dentistry or equivalent experience acceptable to the Medical Board of the hospital.Assignment Level II / Assignment Level III1. Possession of a valid license to practice dentistry in the State of New York; and2. Five (5) years of full-time licensed experience in the practice of General Dentistry acceptable to the Medical Board of the hospital.Dentists Practicing in a Specialty AreaAssignment Level I1. Possession of a valid license to practice dentistry in the State of New York; and2. Currently meets the educational requirements, including residency and/or advanced training for American Board Specialty Certification.
Assignment Level II and Assignment Level III1. Possession of a valid license to practice dentistry in the State of New York; and2. Five (5) years of full-time licensed experience in a field of specialty acceptable to the Medical Board of the hospital; and3. Currently meets the educational requirements, including residency and/or advanced training for American Board of Specialty Certification; and4. Current approved application on file for admission to the certifying examination given by the appropriate American Specialty Board.
