Part-time Associate Dentist - Kew Gardens Dental P.C. - Kew Gardens, NY

Position open for Tuesdays and Wednesday.
Responsibilities:- Perform dental procedures such as fillings, extractions, and root canals- Conduct patient assessments and develop treatment plans- Administer local anesthesia and monitor patients during procedures- Provide patient education on oral hygiene and preventive care- Collaborate with dental hygienists and assistants to ensure efficient patient care- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records- Follow infection control protocols to ensure a safe and clean dental environment- Stay informed about advancements in dentistry and participate in continuing education
Qualifications:- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited dental school- Valid state dental license in good standing- Strong knowledge of dental procedures, techniques, and terminology- Proficiency in Dentrix or similar dental practice management software- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients and staff- Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records- Familiarity with medical coding systems for billing purposes is a plus
