PrimaryOne Health is currently seeking a Full-Time Dental Assistant for our Columbus health centers.
Essential Job Responsibilities:

Readies and maintains the work area to receive each patient.
Performs direct, four-handed, chair side assistance.
Provides instruction on oral hygiene, dental treatment, and nutrition to patients.
Records examination findings; collects and records clinical data, such as vital signs.
Exposes processes and mounts radiographs.
Maintains equipment and dental operatory.
Maintains inventory.
Sterilizes instruments, disinfects surfaces and uses aseptic techniques in accordance with infection control policies.
Uses standard precautions.
Assists front desk staff as necessary.
Attendance, promptness, professionalism, the ability to pay attention to detail, cooperativeness with co-workers and supervisors.
Exhibit good customer service skills towards customers, vendors, and patients.
Occasional travel required.
Other duties as assigned.

Successful candidates must possess a high school diploma or equivalent. Satisfactory completion of a dental assistant training program approved by the Ohio State Dental Board or certification as a dental assistant by the Dental Assisting National Board (DANB). One to three years of experience as a clinical dental assistant. Valid State of Ohio Dental Assistant Radiographer Certificate. Current BLS certification. Hepatitis B vaccination required.
