Dental Assistant/Floater - HB Dental - Stony Brook, NY

Job Summary:
We are seeking a Dental Assistant/Floater to join our team! The ideal candidate will assist dentists during procedures and perform various patient care, office, and laboratory duties.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare patients for dental work- Sterilize dental instruments and equipment- Assist dentists during procedures by handing them instruments and anticipating their needs- Ensure patients are comfortable before, during, and after treatment- Take dental x-rays- Provide post-operative instructions prescribed by the dentist
Qualifications:
- Experience with Dentrix software preferred- Knowledge of CAD and medical imaging systems- Knowledge of dental terminology is a must- Understanding of infection control protocols
