IMPORTANT NOTES:

This is a permanent, part-time position.
This position is for Monday (9 AM - 5 PM), Wednesday (10 AM - 6 PM), Friday (9 AM - 4 PM) and Saturdays (9 AM - 1 PM).

Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and assisting the dentist in various procedures. This position requires a strong understanding of dental practices, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Duties

Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques.
Prepare and maintain the dental operatory, ensuring aseptic technique is followed at all times.
Take and develop dental X-rays while adhering to safety protocols.
Record patient vital signs and medical histories accurately.
Manage patient records using dental software.
Provide chairside assistance in various specialties including prosthodontics.
Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions.
Sterilize instruments and maintain cleanliness of the dental clinic.
Schedule appointments and manage patient flow efficiently.

Qualifications

Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is preferred, with knowledge of dental anatomy and procedures.
Proficiency in using dental software systems is a plus.
Familiarity with aseptic techniques and infection control protocols.
Ability to take accurate X-rays and understand radiographic principles.
Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients and team members.
Certification in CPR or BLS may be required.
Must be detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask effectively in a clinical setting.
